In Summer of 1988 we flew to Germany to pick up our first "Benz"
at the factory delivery center in Sindelfingen, Germany.
We took the factory tour and after a week of "break-in period" were
able to test the top speed on the Autobahn.
Im Sommer 1988 sind wir nach Deutschland geflogen um unseren ersten
"Benz" im Lieferzentrum Sindelfingen abzuhohlen. Nach der Einfahrzeit
hatte ich dann mal Gelegenheit die Höchstgeschwindigkeit auszuprobieren.
The first picture shows us on the North Sea Island of Sylt in Germany, at
the Delivery Center in Sindelfingen, Germany and at Bärbels house in Meerbusch.
The
next two pictures show our Mercury Sable, first with Oma in NJ. The next picture
was taken on our way to Seattle at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.
Auf dem ersten Bild links machen wir eine Pause auf Sylt, im
Auslieferzentrum Sindelfingen und bei Bärbel in Langst Kierst/Meerbusch. Die náchsten zwei
Bilder sind vom Mercury Sable. Auf dem ersten Bild ist Oma zu Besuch in New
Jersey, das Zweite ist aufgenommen auf dem Weg nach Seattle am Mount Rushmore (Presidentenköpfe)
in South Dakota.
