My first car was a 1957 VW Beetle as shown on the left and me behind the wheel at age 18, next came the 1961 Fiat Neckar Spezial and the 1965 Ford Taunus 17m
Mein erstes Auto war ein 57er VW Käfer (auf dem zweiten Bild als 18 jähriger), dann kam ein 61er NSU/FIAT Neckar Spezial, gefolgt von einem 65er Ford Taunus 17m
After the Ford came my first BMW a white 1602 (far left) followed by a bright orange BMW 2002 (seen here in southern France in 1972). It was the last car I owned in Germany before I moved to the States. To the right my first "brand new" car an Opel Manta called the "Blue Max" picture taken in Princeton, NJ
